I started calling Samm's in February 2021. Very impressed with the technicians (John and then Jairo). When the decision to replace my HVAC system came in late May, I did not hesitate to work with Samm's. After researching systems and speaking with Emilio, I found the costs surprisingly under my expectations. The install went as expected and at the end of the day Mario and two others cleaned up. Mario reviewed everything with me and I was totally satisfied. The new system (American Standard Silver) is fantastic. Javier conducted a follow-up call. Take my suggestion, call Samm's. You won't regret it!

We’ve had Samm’s Heating and Air Conditioning service now for almost ten years, and they have always been very responsive and professional. Their quality of work has also been excellent. Last week we had a complete turnkey system implemented. It was a clean and professional job. While they still need to adjust the airflow, their responsiveness gives me the confidence that they will have it working to my satisfaction soon. I would highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs, small or large scale. Daniel and Victor came back after a few weeks of unbalanced cooling and built a custom damper, as well as installed smaller dampers throughout the house vents and measured the airflow so that we get adequate cooling in the bedrooms without freezing the other rooms. Very grateful for their dedicated support and technical expertise.

5 Star all the way! After 4 other quotes from others, a good friend recommended Samm's to me. Marcus baselined my existing system, drew out the entire system to show me my air balance issues and answered every question I had. Very customer service oriented and technically top notch! Then the install team came. They were amazing too! Worked 12 hours and were so professional, extremely thorough. I LOVE my 18 SEER Variable Speed system. It's so comfortable and quiet. Exceeded all my expectations regarding excellent equipment, quality install, great team, professional, knowledgeable. Worth every penny and absolutely no regrets. Quality and no shortcuts. They even included maid service to clean at your convenience. And, best of all, the new variable units are saving me around 30 kW a day. Great company and highly recommend.

Short review: A+ for new system pricing, A+ for installation, A+ for service after the sale. Long review: Shout out #1 – Marcus Melrose, Design Specialist. After extensive research into A/C manufacturers and system types, I chose Samm’s as one of 4 vendors across DFW to provide me a quote for installing a new American Standard variable speed HVAC (including Platinum series heat pump and TAM air handler). Not only was Marcus’s quote the lowest of the four, it was the most honest and detail-oriented. After a thorough design review, I decided to also include all new ducting throughout the house, which turned out to be an excellent decision as it has greatly increased the cooling and airflow in the entire house. This was a very expensive project, yet Marcus was never pushy or aggressive to close the deal. He gave me plenty of time to decide and ask questions. If you are going to receive a quote for a new system from Samm’s, ask for Marcus and you will be in very good hands. Shout out #2 – Felipe, Osvaldo, and David, the “premier” install team. You don’t need a premier installation team to simply replace an old condenser and air handler. You need highly experienced technicians to install a new plenum, run new ducting, install new registers, run new copper supply lines, AND most importantly, install a top-tier American Standard (or Trane) HVAC and heat pump system, in the middle of July, in Texas. These three gentlemen worked extremely hard non-stop for 2 straight days in 105+ degree outside temperatures (much higher in the attic), and were very courteous from arrival to exit. They also kept my house clean of dust and debris, even after adding 10 new registers in the ceiling and retrofitting the new air handler into the old closet. If you want the best installers for your new system and new ducting within your attic, be sure to request the premier install team of Felipe, Osvaldo, and David. Shout out #3 – Daniel Rios, Senior Technician. A few days after my new system was installed, Daniel visited to perform a follow-up inspection of the entire system and ducting installation. Although I thought the system was running perfectly, Daniel discovered an internal issue that was so obscure, the troubleshooting involved calls all the way back to the factory at American Standard. After a couple of return visits, Daniel and Samm’s management decided not to just replace the faulty part, but rather, replace the entire air handler, even though I thought the entire system was running great. That was an unexpected and pleasant surprise that Samm’s fully covered themselves, and it resolved all of Daniel’s concerns. If you want the best of the best technicians to troubleshoot and repair your HVAC, be sure to request Daniel for your appointment. Shout out #4 – Estefani and Amber, Samm’s front office. These ladies make appointment scheduling a breeze, and are super friendly. You can talk to them on the phone, or contact via text messaging, which was very convenient for me as I was able to get my appointments scheduled while I was in work meetings, and didn’t have to call back at a later time. Thank you, Samm’s, for your excellent service and staff. I’m a new customer for life!

Samm's is the best. From Cole, the estimator, to the installers, Aurelio, Brando, and Ricardo, professional all the way. Cole didn't just supply the quote, but came back during installation to make sure everything was going well. As an engineer, I can say the installation is extremely well done, everything run neatly, all the joints sealed, etc. And, the installation crew did not rush the clean up. They left the attic, hallway, etc., even the backyard and driveway spotless. If you hadn't seen the truck, you'd never known they had been there. I highly recommend Samm's, the hidden (since they don't advertise) gem of Plano.

I've been using Samm's for well over a decade and three different homes. Most recently they did a complete replacement install of my furnace and condenser unit. They are very detail oriented, timely, fairly priced, and pleasant to work with! They follow up after the installation for a final inspection and send a complimentary cleaning company over to tidy everything up and do a light home cleaning as well. I had a new HVAC system installed on 8/10/22, consisting of the vertical flow air handler unit located in my garage and the outside condensing unit and pad. Both units being the American Standard brand, and a new Honeywell thermostat was also installed. Josh, Evan, and Felipe did a great job! All three young men were polite and professional. They showed up on time and did a very good and clean install. I am very pleased. I was not far away from home when Josh called me and said that they were wrapping things up. When I arrived, Evan was putting away tools and Felipe was checking the refrigerant levels at the condensing unit. Josh walked me through the house and showed me the new thermostat install and how it functions. Then we looked at the air handler unit and the outside condensing unit. I am pleased with the installation. Today, 8/17/22, Samm's sent out Daniel to perform the final inspection. Daniel did a thorough visual inspection and tested the heating elements as well. He found a 50-amp circuit breaker that needed to be replaced with a 25-amp and swapped it out, as well as adding mastic in a couple of areas where there seemed to be slight air leaks. I was very pleased with Daniel's thoroughness and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Samm's Heating and Air Conditioning.

The Samm's Team just finished installing a complete 3 ton communicating Trane HVAC system. After doing thorough research on companies that install, service & repair Trane, I decided to call Samm's for an appointment to evaluate and quote a new system. I was very impressed with Marcus, his knowledge, experience, and educational approach. He designed the appropriate systems for my 2 story 2500 sq ft house and did not try to upsell me in any way. Even though they are not the least expensive in the area, they proved to be the best. The old saying that you get what you pay for is certainly true here. We decided that based on my needs a XV18 variable speed A/C and an XC80 2 stage furnace with many additional items that come with the system. The installation crew was equally as knowledgeable and very professional, polite, and courteous. They started at 7am and didn't finish till after 8pm. Danny C. & Mario were fantastic to deal with. Israel was terrific and so was Tiffany. Their attention to detail is something you don't see every day. Mario and Danny explained all the work they did, twice. Danny brought me up to the attic, showed me everything that was done, and went over why it was done. Mario did the same summarizing all the work and why. Israel took me outside and went over every detail of the new beautiful Trane XV18. Tiffany made sure all the equipment was there on time and kept the work area very clean. She even sent back the first furnace because there was a dent in the unit. I love the Trane thermostat and Nexia app. Great technology. Danny explained it well and easy to follow. I was even able to connect the device to my Amazon Echo (Alexa App) and was able to have Alexa raise the Temp via voice command while they were there in a matter of 2 minutes. Amber was terrific with her follow through & follow up, and I believe Rose got it all started by locking in the appointment with Marcus. I never ever write reviews because I just don't have the time, but I had to in this case because of this great experience. This is a huge investment but feel confident that Trane is the best and that Samm's will do it the right way. They even pull permits so that the city can inspect their work, that's how confident they are. I will now put in another identical system for the other side of my house, and I'm sure the experience will be the same...Excellent! Kudos to the owner for training their people right and taking care of them. Until next time... Well, I've had a few next times since the first installation over the last 15 months. Samm's installed a second complete 3 ton communicating Trane HVAC system. The installation team was as exceptional as the first team's installation. Since then Karl has been to my residence multiple times. First to check why the second unit wasn't cooling last summer. He quickly diagnosed that there was an oil leak which he quickly fixed. Everything under warranty, no cost. He's serviced the unit twice last year and just completed the first one this year. Always consistently professional, polite, knowledgeable, respectful, and courteous. His attention to detail and explanations are most appreciated. It's no surprise that Karl is one of your top employees who also has tenure at Samm's. To keep someone like Karl tells me that he enjoys his work and who he works for.
