The tech came to fix our filter that wasn’t functioning. The filter door was damaged on a previous maintenance call a couple of years ago. The problem is there is not a proper electrical connection if not closed in a certain way. On this trip, he fixed the problem promptly and the filter is again functioning. Did a great job but wish Samm’s had replaced when it was originally damaged.

What we've experienced over our 4 years with the company, paying for their bi-annual maintenance service, and meeting several of the team members over the course of mundane and emergency situations is: this is a group of people who go above and beyond to deliver excellent service and make their customers happy. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great AC company. Their techs are all professional; they not only know their trade, but they all have great customer service. Mature individuals, listen to our needs, take the time to explain their work so that we know what to expect, and explain the pros/cons of decisions we have to make. We originally had Abel as a tech for several years. When we moved to a new tech (Dillon), my wife and I were not sure what to expect because we thought we had hit the jackpot. We're pleased that Dillon is also a professional. We also had an AC emergency this year where the Operations Manager (Karl) responded to our emergency, and then there was a billing issue which we worked out with their Operations Director (I might be getting the role wrong). Over the course of that issue we learned that this is a family-owned business, and as such they take all feedback very seriously and work very hard to keep their customers happy and hire great people.

I have used Samm’s for over 7 years as they are experts in their area and very customer-service focused. Tyler D is a great example of this. He fixed our A/C and then took the time to explain why the problem occurred and why it may happen again and my options. The options did not include paying more money to Samm’s—it was about other systems that impact the A/C, so they were not trying to upsell, just ensure I was aware. Great service as always and would never use another company. I was not charged for the service as I have yearly maintenance and it was within the 30-day frame.

Karl is fantastic. He texted to let me know he received my request for service, then he called when he was on his way to tell me when he would be here. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part on his truck to fix the issue, and communicated with me during the process to let me know what was going on. (Part 5 — 7/25/25). Recently, Ken B was here to perform the A/C summer maintenance. As with everyone we deal with from Samms, Ken was excellent. On time, efficient, friendly, courteous, polite. Highly recommend. Also, I appreciate that the Samms front office stays on top of the maintenance schedule and reaches out when it is time for service. That’s something I forget about and I’m grateful that they stay on top of it. As always, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Samms!! 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Part 4) Luis was back, and as always was professional and polite. He went about his business efficiently, replaced the filter, checked out our system and all is well. As mentioned previously we are “lifers” with Samms… I cannot recommend them enough! (Part 3) Several weeks after the large installation, Matt came to review the installation, and make sure everything was working correctly. Matt was on-time, professional and extremely polite. He recapped what he did, and all is good! We love Samms!! (Part 2) Since our first experience with Samms (see review below), we are "lifers." Our system was old and outdated and we replaced everything, plus, on their recommendation added a ceiling intake. All of the young men were polite and knew their business. They called ahead, were here on time, and went about their tasks with little to no interference with me. Luis was especially helpful taking time to show us how the new thermostat works and getting us set up with our phones/Bluetooth access. Everything is working well and we are very happy with the service. (First review) Finally, after several other companies took our money, but failed to fix the system... this is the first time in 12 months that the A/C is working correctly... and for a reasonable price. We went ahead and paid for the maintenance plan (which gave us 10% off the repairs). Maintenance was done very efficiently. The staff is kind and friendly. Can't say enough good about Daniel and Tiffany... they both provided excellent service and I never felt uncomfortable with them in my home. Add the little things like putting a mat down on the floor to catch the yuck/yuck that falls from the attic... very thoughtful. Definitely 5 stars.
